Imas completes turnkey 10 tph feed mill in Zimbabwe

The fully automated plant includes centralized monitoring from intake through packaging, with remote after-sales technical support.

Imas has completed a turnkey feed milling project for Agri-Milling Stockfeeds in Zimbabwe, delivering a 10 tph facility that the company designed, manufactured, and built. World Grain reports the mill is managed through a central automation system that enables integrated monitoring of the full process from intake to packaging.

According to World Grain, the automation system provides real-time data on production quantities, yields, and consumption to support efficiency and operational transparency. Imas also said its after-sales team can connect remotely to the plant for technical support, including troubleshooting and check ups.

Agri-Milling operates under Davipel Holdings and produces maize meal, instant porridges, and corn snacks, while its stockfeed division supplies feed for animal species including broilers, layers, pigs, rabbits, and beef and dairy cattle. World Grain adds that Imas representatives attended the opening ceremony on Aug. 5, where Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa praised the company’s market share, job creation, and integrated value chain model.
