Slide Insurance files for “Slide Fusion,” signaling a new homeowners product
The trademark application covers homeowners and condominium property and casualty coverage, and Slide is preparing to launch excess and surplus in California within 30 to 60 days.
Slide Insurance Holdings has filed a trademark application for “Slide Fusion,” an indication the company may be developing a new homeowners insurance product, according to Coverager. The August 14 filing seeks protection for underwriting, issuance, and administration of homeowners and condominium unit owners property and casualty insurance. The application, submitted by Tampa-based Slide Insurance Holdings, has not yet been assigned to an examiner, and the company has not publicly announced the product. Slide Insurance, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Tampa, said it currently operates in Florida and South Carolina. Coverager notes the company plans to launch an excess and surplus product in California within 30 to 60 days.
