Omas Industries expands Italy HQ with €7.5 million investment
The planned upgrade will double covered headquarters space to 12,000 square meters and is set for completion in March 2027.
Omas Industries is expanding its headquarters in Italy as part of a long term strategy to support its international growth in the grain processing equipment market, World Grain reports. The company’s €7.5 million investment, about $8.73 million, will double covered facilities from 6,000 to 12,000 square meters. Construction is underway and is scheduled to finish in March 2027, after which the expanded site will operate as a central hub for Omas’ global functions. Once complete, the new headquarters will bring together production, engineering, research and development, and corporate activities under one roof. Omas says the project is designed to improve operational efficiency, increase collaboration across departments, and create more space for technological innovation. Founded in 1966, Omas serves customers in more than 85 countries and employs over 110 professionals, with annual turnover of about €23 million. World Grain also notes that Green Acres Milling will soon begin operating an oat mill with a production capacity of 39,420 tonnes of finished oat products per year, in a related industry roundup.
