U.S. uranium concentrate production more than tripled in 2025
The Energy Information Administration says U.S. uranium concentrate output totaled 2.1 million pounds of U3O8 in 2025, the highest level since 2017.
U.S. uranium concentrate production rose sharply in 2025, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
EIA reports that uranium concentrate production, measured as triuranium octoxide (U3O8), totaled 2.1 million pounds in 2025, the highest since 2017.
The EIA also said U.S. U3O8 production in 2025 more than tripled versus 2024 and was the most since 2017.
