Real Trump Coins denies authorizing Solana GOLD token launch

Blockchain analytics cited by Cointelegraph said the GOLD team-controlled wallets held 82.5% of supply and sold for about $330,000, implying a roughly $312,000 profit.

Real Trump Coins has denied authorizing or launching a Solana-based GOLD token, saying it has not approved any digital token despite persistent questions about its X account, related domains, and token supply concentration, according to Cointelegraph.

The denial followed promotions on the Real Trump Coins X account on Saturday that pointed users to RealTrumpCoins.com, where GOLD was also advertised. Cointelegraph reported the X posts were later deleted and the account now links to a different domain, TrumpCoins.com.

Cointelegraph also reported that Real Trump Coins said it is working with authorities to investigate the issue, after analysts raised concerns about how the GOLD launch occurred.

Separately, Cointelegraph cited Lookonchain data that a developer and newly created wallets controlled 82.45% of GOLD supply, and that 15 wallets linked to the team sold their holdings for about $330,000, for an estimated $312,000 profit. Cointelegraph said confusion among observers included whether the X account and RealTrumpCoins.com could have been compromised, since the account’s bio previously linked to TrumpCoins.com while posts continued directing users to RealTrumpCoins.com as recently as Aug. 25.
