Sun Life adds AI advisor concierge and expands Notes Assistant
The AI tools cut advisors’ administrative time by 15 to 30 minutes per client session, and the concierge has been used in more than 11,000 client conversations since July.
Sun Life Financial has expanded its AI tools for Canadian advisors, rolling out an AI-powered advisor concierge after the earlier launch of Notes Assistant. Notes Assistant uses generative AI to securely summarize client meetings, compile action items, and draft follow-up emails.
Sun Life says the tools help advisors save 15 to 30 minutes per client session, and that since its July launch the advisor concierge has been used in more than 11,000 client conversations. The concierge is designed to help advisors find information about products, policies, and internal processes.
The company said the updates are part of a broader responsible AI strategy. That strategy also includes Sun Life’s proprietary agentic AI platform for technology architects and its founding membership in the AI Consortium, according to Coverager.
