Bitcoin rises about 23.5% in 30 days toward volatile September forecast
CryptoSlate’s model sets a Sep. 29 median target of $81,319, with a wide $72,502 to $91,049 range and notes spot Bitcoin ETF demand totaling $2.23 billion behind the late-August rebound.
Bitcoin was trading near $77,700 on Aug. 31, putting the largest crypto asset up about 23.5% over the prior 30 days, as CryptoSlate’s market signal turned bullish after a late-week pullback, according to CryptoSlate.
CryptoSlate published its latest Bitcoin September forecast at the Aug. 30 close, using a $77,667 reference price to produce an $81,319 median for Sep. 29, a modeled gain of about 4.7% from the reference point. The outlook also included a broad distribution of outcomes, with a P80 estimate of $91,049 and a P20 estimate of $72,502, reflecting an $18,547 gap that signals continued volatility around the forecast path.
CryptoSlate said the late-August move had evidence of spot demand, pointing to $2.23 billion of spot Bitcoin ETF demand. It also cited an 11% decline in Bitcoin futures open positions and funding near neutral, and it noted that ETF flows softened into the end of the week, with net outflows of $201.9 million on Aug. 28 after a nine-day inflow streak totaling about $3.04 billion.
On the technical side, CryptoSlate described $81,000 as a late-August rejection level that flipped $80,000 back into a near-term reclaim marker, while placing immediate support around $77,000 for the near term. The outlet said the model’s center points upward but that the wider range keeps meaningful swings possible into late September.
