Brokerslink expands board after private placement closes June 22
The company completed the private placement on June 22, 2026, widening its shareholder base, and also re-elected José Manuel Fonseca as President & CEO of the Board.
Brokerslink, a global insurance broking business, has expanded its Board of Directors with three new directors following the completion of a private placement that closed on June 22, 2026, according to Reinsurance News.
The newly elected directors are Ágnes Bara, Deputy CEO at Hungary’s Hungarikum Insurance Broker; Youness Rhallam, a board member of Alpha Assurances in Morocco; and Patrick Verlinden, CEO of Van Dessel in Belgium. Brokerslink said the board changes reflect its shareholder-led governance and a broadening of its shareholder base.
Bara brings nearly 20 years of experience across retail insurance, bancassurance, corporate insurance, and international broking, while Rhallam has about two decades advising multinational and domestic organizations. Verlinden has led Van Dessel for more than 25 years and oversaw international expansion across Belgium and Luxembourg, per the outlet.
In addition to the new directors, José Manuel Fonseca was re-elected as President & CEO of the Board. The leadership was also updated, with Gregory Allard, CEO of Filhet-Allard in France, and Alexandra Littlejohn, EVP Senior Managing Director of Alliant Insurance Services in the US, elected as Vice Presidents.
