Insurers gravitate to Anthropic Claude as AI satisfaction climbs

A YouGov BrandIndex survey found net satisfaction of 59.3 for Claude among US users, ahead of Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT.

Insurance Business says the insurance industry has increasingly backed Anthropic's Claude as its go to large language model, with multiple carriers, brokers and tech partners expanding Claude deployments over the past year.

Baldwin Group expanded its enterprise relationship with Anthropic in May, and the outlet linked that move to HUB International's earlier decision to roll Claude out across its workforce of more than 20,000 employees. Verisk built dedicated connectors so underwriters can query loss cost trends and ISO filing data in Claude conversationally, and DXC committed to training tens of thousands of engineers on the model as part of a multi year partnership that names insurance as a priority sector.

The article also cites consumer research suggesting buyers may be getting something users actually like. YouGov BrandIndex tracking, based on an always on survey of Americans who have used AI tools, showed Claude posted a net satisfaction score of 59.3 for current and former US users surveyed between February 1 and July 31, 2026.

On the same net satisfaction measure, Apple Intelligence scored 57.7, ChatGPT scored 53.5, Gemini scored 51.3 and Perplexity AI scored 49.0, with xAI's Grok lowest among the top tools at 39.0, the outlet said. The survey is presented as a customer experience check that differs from brand preference and accuracy rankings.
