Strive boosts Bitcoin treasury with $143 million buy
The Nasdaq-listed firm bought 1,800 bitcoins between August 24 and August 28 for an average $79,431 per coin, lifting holdings to 23,156 worth $1.8 billion at current prices.
Strive snapped up more Bitcoin, spending $143 million on a new purchase that lifted its corporate holdings and pushed its stock higher. Bitcoin Magazine reports the Nasdaq-listed company said it bought 1,800 bitcoins between August 24 and August 28.
The filings show Strive paid an average price of $79,431 per bitcoin. After the latest purchase, the company now holds 23,156 bitcoins, worth $1.8 billion at today’s prices, and its shares were up about 9% at roughly 12:30 p.m. New York time.
Strive is now described as the fifth largest publicly traded Bitcoin treasury, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet, and MARA. The outlet also noted the firm’s year to date Bitcoin yield reached 40.8% as of its Aug. 28 filing.
Founded in 2025 by Vivek Ramaswamy after raising $750 million to buy Bitcoin, Strive completed an all-stock acquisition of Semler Scientific in January 2026. Bitcoin Magazine adds Strive positions itself as debt free, with zero margin requirements and no encumbered bitcoin, and it cited Strategy’s recent restart of purchases as a backdrop to the activity.
