Bitcoin ETFs post best month of 2026 as BTC rises in August

Bitcoin ETFs notched what Cointelegraph called their best month of 2026 as Bitcoin gained about 25% in August.

The outlet said US spot Bitcoin ETFs cut their year to date net outflows by 66%, reflecting improved demand alongside the BTC rebound.

Cointelegraph added that Ether ETFs turned positive year to date, totaling $732 million in inflows, while XRP ETFs reached $502 million.

The gains came as broader flows shifted across major crypto ETF products during August.
