LaserAway to open 15th New York City location on Upper East Side
The company signed a 10-year lease for 1,800 square feet at 242 East 86th Street with asking rent of $165 per square foot, marking another East Side expansion.
LaserAway is preparing to open its 15th New York City location on the Upper East Side, Commercial Observer reports. The skin care, hair removal, and body wellness provider signed a 10-year lease for 1,800 square feet on the ground floor of 242 East 86th Street.
According to the report, the property has asking rent of $165 per square foot. The Yorkville site is part of a 55,158-square-foot mid-rise mixed-use building constructed in 1920 and renovated in 2003, based on listing information.
Commercial Observer also said the building is owned by the LLC 244 East 86th Street, which is linked to Shore Assets. Michael Miller of The Shopping Center Group represented LaserAway, while Darrell Rubens and Richard Gelber of Newmark represented the landlord.
LaserAway offers services including laser hair removal, Botox injections, cool sculpting, facials, tattoo removal, and micro-needling. The company already operates an East Side location at 1430 Second Avenue, with other New York City sites across neighborhoods including Brooklyn Heights, Flatiron, Astoria, and Tribeca.
