Howard Hughes gets $35M refinancing for Cypress mixed-use project
The nearly fully leased, Class A office component is a three-story, 49,000-square-foot mass-timber building.
Affinius Capital provided a $35 million refinancing for Village Green at Bridgeland Central, a nearly 200,000-square-foot mixed-use retail and office development in Cypress, Texas, according to ConnectCRE. Howard Hughes Holdings is listed as the sponsor.
The 23-acre property is anchored by H-E-B and includes a Class A office building. The office component is described as a three-story, 49,000-square-foot mass-timber structure that was nearly fully leased at the time the loan closed.
ConnectCRE also noted that JLL arranged the loan on behalf of Howard Hughes Holdings, with Colby Mueck, Kelly Layne, Jack Britton, and Scot Sarlin named as the deal team.
The Bridgeland master-planned community that houses the project is described as having 7 million square feet of office space, 2 million square feet of retail space, 3,800 residences, and 1,500 hotel rooms.
