Jonjua Overseas shares rise ahead of 7:24 bonus issue record date

The company plans to issue 79,55,966 fully paid-up bonus shares, with trading of the bonus shares expected to start on 8 September 2026 after regulatory approvals.

Jonjua Overseas climbed nearly 5% on Thursday, 3 September, as investors focused on the company’s upcoming 7:24 bonus share issue.

The company set 4 September 2026 as the record date for shareholders eligible to receive the bonus shares, according to an exchange filing dated 24 August. The timetable remains subject to regulatory approvals, including in-principle approval from the BSE, while the deemed date of allotment is 7 September 2026.

Under the 7:24 bonus issue, eligible shareholders will receive 7 additional shares for every 24 shares held as of the record date. Jonjua Overseas said it will issue 79,55,966 fully paid-up bonus equity shares and submit documents to the depository for crediting by 12 noon on 7 September, with bonus shares expected to be admitted to trading on 8 September 2026 in line with SEBI rules.

The company also said the proposal does not automatically increase investment value, as market price is generally adjusted downward to reflect the additional shares issued. Separately, Jonjua Overseas recently entered an MoU with entrepreneur Anjali Sharma to cooperate on a private rooftop helipad near the National Highway in Rampur BSR, Himachal Pradesh, aimed at supporting tourism, emergency services, and economic activities.
