Stash Financial leases 12,322 SF at 641 Avenue of the Americas
The fintech firm will relocate from a WeWork coworking space at 450 Park Avenue South, after signing the lease in mid-August.
Stash Financial, a digital personal finance and micro-investing company, has signed an office lease for 12,322 square feet at Spear Street Capital’s 641 Avenue of the Americas, Commercial Observer reports. The lease was signed in mid-August, and Stash will take space on part of the building’s sixth floor.
The property listing cited by the publication says the building spans 22,000 square feet, and the asking rent was $98 per square foot. Stash is expected to move from its current WeWork location at 450 Park Avenue South, though the timing of the relocation was not disclosed.
Commercial Observer adds that the landlord was represented by Newmark’s Jason Greenstein and Jonathan Franzel, while CBRE’s Paul Amrich, Neil King, Meghan Allen, and Zach Price represented the tenant. Newmark declined to comment and CBRE did not immediately respond to the outlet’s request.
The eight-story Beaux Arts office property is in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood between West 19th and West 20th streets, and other tenants include DSM-Firmenich and Infor.
