Bitcoin rebounds toward $77,900 as softer dollar boosts crypto

Bitcoin is up 0.76% to around $77,890, but spot bitcoin ETFs saw a $9.3 million outflow for a second straight day.

Bitcoin climbed 0.76% since midnight to trade around $77,890, recovering part of Wednesday’s decline but still down 2.89% over the past week, according to CoinDesk data.

The move coincided with a weaker US dollar, with the dollar index down 0.32% to 99.259. CoinDesk also noted that gold rose 0.97% and silver added 0.88%, while Nasdaq 100 futures and S&P 500 futures were modestly higher.

CoinDesk reported that tokens linked to Robinhood Chain revenue led the altcoin market again, with pons up 30.85% over 24 hours and Arbitrum up 16.77% in its third straight session of gains. Arbitrum’s token market cap passed $916 million, with daily trading volume cited at $486 million.

Still, spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $9.3 million in outflows for a second consecutive day of net selling, though it was smaller than Tuesday’s $239 million. CoinDesk also said Uniswap reversed, falling 8.62% over 24 hours to $5.75, while monero rose 4.30% to around $515.
