Dark Matter Technologies adds executives for AI automation in mortgage lending
New product strategy and professional services leaders will support the firm’s Empower loan origination solution and Exchange Partner Marketplace.
Dark Matter Technologies has expanded its leadership team with new appointments focused on artificial intelligence and automation in mortgage lending, the company announced Thursday, according to HousingWire.
The firm named Salvatore Piccola as senior vice president of product strategy and Gil Valera as vice president of professional services. Both executives report to chief product officer Stephanie Durflinger, HousingWire reported.
Piccola will oversee product strategy and development for Dark Matter’s Empower loan origination solution, its integrated point-of-sale experience, and the Exchange Partner Marketplace. Valera will lead professional services and consulting, including customer implementation, adoption, and technology consulting.
HousingWire reported that Piccola joins Dark Matter after nearly 24 years at PNC, where he most recently served as senior vice president and director of business innovation validation for home lending. The outlet added that Valera has more than 20 years of experience in professional services and mortgage technology, including 13 years at ICE Mortgage Technology.
