Laurent Rousseau named Head of International at Marsh Re
The appointment, effective immediately, expands Rousseau’s remit to lead Marsh Re’s regions across Asia-Pacific and Latin America alongside Europe and IMEA.
Marsh has appointed Laurent Rousseau as Head of International for Marsh Re, effective immediately, expanding his responsibilities across the firm’s reinsurance operations.
Based in London, Rousseau will lead Marsh Re’s Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Caribbean regions, in addition to Europe and IMEA, while also retaining global leadership of Capital and Advisory.
Marsh Re said Rousseau brings more than 25 years of investment banking and reinsurance experience, including leadership roles at SCOR that culminated in his position as chief executive officer of the French reinsurer.
The appointment keeps Rousseau reporting to Dean Klisura, President and CEO of Marsh Re, and is designed to support clients as Marsh describes a more complex global risk environment that requires both local expertise and global perspective.
