Reforming Pilates signs 10-year lease for Murray Hill studio

The 2,500-square-foot space is the brand’s third Manhattan location, following sites in Flatiron and on the Upper East Side.

Fitness brand Reforming Pilates has signed a 10-year lease for a new studio at 233 East 34th Street in Manhattan’s Murray Hill area, according to landlord broker Meridian Capital Group.

The studio will span 2,500 square feet and represents the brand’s third Manhattan location, after earlier sites at 109 West 17th Street in the Flatiron District and at 1305 Second Avenue on the Upper East Side, Commercial Observer reports.

The deal’s asking rent was not disclosed. CBRE data cited by Commercial Observer shows the average asking rent for retail space in Manhattan’s nearby Herald Square neighborhood was $394 per square foot during the second quarter of 2026.

Meridian’s broker team on the transaction included Noam Aziz, Carson Shahrabani, and Max Freudenberger, while Reforming Pilates was represented by Jeff Jacobson of Masonre. Meridian noted Murray Hill is evolving toward a more wellness-focused customer base, reflecting broader demand for Pilates and related fitness concepts.
