Pernod Ricard India appoints four banks for potential IPO

The proposed listing would target raising more than ₹9,450 crore in 2027, though the company has not finalized the deal size or structure.

Pernod Ricard has appointed four investment banks as advisors for a proposed initial public offering of its India unit, according to LiveMint Markets, citing people familiar with the matter.

Kotak Mahindra Capital, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and BofA Securities have been onboarded to advise on the potential IPO, with the report noting that additional banks could be added later if needed.

The proposed IPO could aim to raise more than ₹9,450 crore in 2027, the outlet said, adding that no final decision has been made on the size or structure and that terms could change based on strategy and market conditions.

Pernod Ricard India said, through comments attributed to the group’s global CEO Alexandre Ricard, that discussions about the India IPO are still ongoing and exploratory, and that the company is taking legal preparatory steps to keep options open.
