Enviro Infra Engineers rallies after winning ₹189.99 crore wind EPC order

The EPC contract, booked through Suyog Urja Limited, covers 180 MW of wind capacity in Parli, Maharashtra, with work set to finish by March 31, 2027.

Enviro Infra Engineers shares jumped nearly 10% in intraday trading on Wednesday, September 9, after the company disclosed a new engineering, procurement and construction, EPC, turnkey order worth ₹189.99 crore, excluding GST, for a 180 MW wind power project in Maharashtra.

According to LiveMint Markets, the order was received through its step-down subsidiary, Suyog Urja Limited (SUL), which secured the contract from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited for the development of the NTPC wind power project at Parli.

The scope of work includes wind turbine generator foundation works, reinforcement steel supply, and geotechnical services, along with Balance of Plant works. SUL will also develop a fully equipped storage yard spread across 39 acres, handle material movement and site connectivity, coordinate right-of-way requirements, and construct permanent and temporary roads, pathways, and crane pads.

The project is classified as a domestic contract, and SUL is also tasked with constructing and commissioning a 33 kV transmission line as part of the overall scope. The EPC turnkey works are scheduled for completion by March 31, 2027, and while the stock climbed about 8% over the past week, its performance over longer time periods has been mixed, the outlet noted.
