Fuse launches Retail & Distribution hub to cover 17 insurance verticals
The hub compiles state and class signals for retail and distribution, pulling in recall feeds, freight and goods cost data, carrier rate and form filings, and carrier appetite changes.
Fuse International, Inc. launched a Retail and Distribution hub, extending the company’s insurance market intelligence coverage to seventeen industry verticals. The platform is designed to give brokers, underwriters, and product teams a continuously updated view of how the retail and distribution market is moving, using public filings, regulatory feeds, and economic data rather than survey-style input.
According to Fuse, retail and distribution represents a large concentration of small commercial and middle market premium in the United States, and it is among the least well served by existing market intelligence. Fuse said the hub focuses on fast-moving, publicly documented factors such as product recalls, liability verdicts, goods and freight cost, crime exposure, and exclusions carriers add to their forms.
The hub monitors and synthesizes multiple data streams, including consumer product and vehicle recall feeds, product liability and litigation signals, retail crime and loss data, goods and materials producer prices, freight and port activity, and carrier rate and form filings by state. It also tracks surplus lines appetite movement, statutory results for carriers writing the class, and catastrophe and peril activity affecting retail property concentrations.
Fuse said each figure shown in the hub is traceable to the specific filing or public record it came from, with verbatim source text where available. Sean Bourgeois, Founder and CEO of Fuse International, said the class can shift faster than typical reporting timelines, and the hub is built to help teams see changes while they are happening rather than waiting for renewals.
