Greystar and PGIM finish Building I and start Buildings II and III in Charleston

The project includes a 145,463-square-foot rear-loading warehouse in North Charleston, with site construction now under way on two additional buildings totaling over 180,000 square feet.

Greystar and PGIM, the global asset management business of Prudential Financial, have completed Building I of the Lowcountry Logistics Center in the greater Charleston area and started construction on Buildings II and III, according to ConnectCRE.

Building I is a 145,463-square-foot rear-loading facility at 7651 Southrail Road, with a clear height of 32 feet, 34 dock doors, and two drive-in doors. ConnectCRE said leasing for the project is being led by Bridge Commercial’s Peter Fennelly, Simons Johnson, and Will Crowell.

Construction is underway on Lowcountry Logistics Buildings II and III at 8276 and 8250 Patriot Boulevard in North Charleston. The two rear-load buildings together total over 180,000 square feet, with suites divisible to approximately 16,000 square feet.

ConnectCRE added that all three buildings are designed to accommodate a wide range of industrial users, including distribution, warehousing, and manufacturing operations, with leasing efforts for Buildings II and III led by Bridge Commercial’s Hagood S. Morrison, John Beam, Brooks Courtney, and Graham Weisel.
