Harrison Street Asset Management has hired Dan Fanelli as managing director and co-head of its Investor Solutions Group in New York, aiming to lead U.S. investment solutions as the firm expands globally, Commercial Observer reports.

According to the outlet, Fanelli joins Harrison Street after stints at PGIM, Brookfield Asset Management, and Innovo Property Group.

The firm is also bringing in Dan Kim, hired as managing director in Chicago focused on infrastructure, and promoting James Choi from head of Asia in Tokyo to work on the West Coast alongside Fanelli, with a mandate to deepen relationships with North American institutional clients.

Commercial Observer adds that Harrison Street has more than $110 billion in assets, mostly in student housing, senior housing, and medical offices, and that it has offloaded about $6 billion in properties over the last 12 months.
