Inland nears $1B milestone with two Illinois senior living buys

The deals include Deer Park Village, built in 2016, and The Landings, built in 2021, expanding Inland’s seniors portfolio to more than 3,100 units.

Inland Real Estate Acquisitions, LLC has negotiated and closed the purchase of two senior living communities in Illinois, Deer Park Village in Deer Park and The Landings in Batavia, according to ConnectCRE.

ConnectCRE reports the transactions were completed by Inland, with Mark Cosenza, senior vice president of Inland Acquisitions, and Brett Smith, vice president and senior counsel of The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC, Law Department, working on the deals on behalf of an Inland affiliate.

The acquisitions mark what the outlet describes as a historic milestone for Inland, bringing the firm past more than $1 billion in senior living acquisitions and totaling more than 20 communities in its senior living portfolio.

ConnectCRE adds that the portfolio now includes more than 3,100 units across Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, and Tennessee, with Deer Park Village at 188 units built in 2016 and The Landings at 142 units built in 2021.
