REMAX opens Missoula affiliate REMAX Confluence with nine agents
The Missoula office will cover five counties and plans to recruit additional agents as it launches.
REMAX has welcomed a new Missoula, Montana affiliate, REMAX Confluence, led by broker owner DJ Smith, according to HousingWire. The office opened with nine agents and is intended to serve five counties in western Montana.
Smith is returning to the REMAX brand where he began his real estate career in 2014 in Missoula. HousingWire reports that he previously worked as a managing broker, helped grow market share for one of Montana’s largest brokerages, and held leadership roles in local and state Realtor associations, including serving as president of the Montana Association of Realtors in 2024.
The new brokerage will operate from an office in Missoula and plans to recruit additional agents. Smith said the affiliate’s focus is on agent development and building a relationship driven culture.
HousingWire also notes that the launch comes weeks after The Real Brokerage closed its acquisition of REMAX, forming the Real REMAX Group. Smith pointed to REMAX’s ability to adapt to changing market conditions and agent needs as a factor in his decision to affiliate again with the brand.
