Stephen Curry sells Dogpatch industrial property near Warriors arena
The sale comes two years after Curry bought the vacant site for $8.5M and followed plans to replace it with a five-story, 25K SF building for his business group.
Stephen Curry has sold a vacant two-story industrial property in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood at 600 20th St., a location within walking distance of the Warriors’ arena, according to Bisnow.
The outlet said Curry bought the site in 2024 for $8.5M and later sold it for $10.5M, based on property records. Bisnow reported the buyer was Dane Reinsurance, a Utah-based company with an office in San Francisco.
Bisnow added that the property was slated to become the headquarters for Thirty Ink, Curry’s business group spanning athletic, lifestyle, technology, and philanthropy brands. A request filed with the city in April 2024 sought demolition of the 9,200 SF building and replacement with a five-story, 25K SF property featuring lab, office, and residential space.
The report also pointed to broader local office conditions, noting San Francisco’s office recovery over the past two years, alongside the nearby, long-running Pier 70 redevelopment led by Brookfield Properties. Bisnow said Pier 70, a 28-acre mixed-use project that began in 2018, has seen limited progress since stalling, and Brookfield has sought approval to increase the maximum number of residences.
