Arrowhead to reorganize specialty distribution under three brands by 2027

The planned rollout swaps legacy underwriting and wholesale names, and in some cases changes the underlying legal entities, including moves such as Advanced E&S into Bridge Specialty Group.

Arrowhead Intermediaries said it will consolidate much of its underwriting and wholesale operations into three main brands starting in 2027, replacing a broader set of legacy names and updating some of the associated legal entities. Under the plan, Arrowhead Programs will become Arrowhead Underwriting, wholesale businesses will increasingly operate under Bridge Specialty Group, and Arrowhead Specialty will be formalized as a third division spanning activities such as captives, reinsurance, life and health, and other specialist risk services.

The company said agencies and customers will see near-term changes in where specific businesses are housed within the new structure. Its brand and legal entity directory shows Advanced E&S moving to Bridge Specialty Group’s property and casualty operations, PMC Insurance becoming Bridge Specialty Group Workers’ Compensation and Professional Risk, and Hull and Company offices adopting the Bridge Specialty Group name with geographic identifiers retained.

Arrowhead also described legal entity changes in addition to branding, including Advanced E&S shifting from Peachtree Special Risk Brokers LLC to Bridge Specialty Group LLC, along with moves for PMC Insurance Agency Inc. and other entities currently using Hull & Company LLC or One80 Intermediaries Inc. The reorganization is aimed at simplifying a specialty distribution platform that expanded after Brown & Brown’s $9.825 billion acquisition of Accession Risk Management Group in 2025, with Arrowhead noting it has more than 7,800 employees across 170 locations and placed more than $20 billion in premium in 2025.
