GAINSCO rolls out rebrand with new logo and website

The State Farm-owned auto insurer is using a trademarked “GAINSCO AUTO INSURANCE” mark and says its updated site highlights flexible coverage and payment options, while coverage currently lists 18 states and excludes Kansas.

GAINSCO has unveiled a rebrand, rolling out a new logo and website for its nonstandard personal auto insurance business, first flagged in December 2025, according to Coverager.

The new branding appears on the company website and is tied to a trademark application filed in November for “GAINSCO AUTO INSURANCE,” including a redesigned “G” made from a half-circle and arrow. The site positions the brand around “Protection you can count on,” and it emphasizes flexible coverage, payment options, and agent support, Coverager reports.

GAINSCO focuses on nonstandard personal auto insurance sold through independent agents. The company’s current website lists coverage in 18 states and does not include Kansas.

Coverager also notes that Kansas regulators rejected GAINSCO’s initial personal auto filing as “grossly inadequate,” and that State Farm acquired GAINSCO in December 2020 for $400 million, making GAINSCO an owned subsidiary.
