Sierra Signorelli tapped to lead AIG’s Americas and global personal unit

AIG says the appointment is effective January 1, 2027, and the new CEO role includes oversight of its global personal insurance business.

American International Group (AIG) said it hired Sierra Signorelli as CEO for its Americas and Global Personal Insurance unit, effective January 1, 2027. In the role, she will oversee AIG’s North America and Latin America & Caribbean commercial insurance businesses, along with the company’s global personal insurance business.

AIG said Signorelli will report to Eric Andersen, president and CEO of AIG, and will serve on the company’s executive leadership team.

The insurer added that Signorelli recently stepped down as CEO of Zurich U.S. She previously spent 17 years at AIG in global specialties, including roles such as global chief underwriting officer for specialty lines.
