Wan Bridge commercializes in-house AI tech to automate BTR building
The Texas build-to-rent builder says AiWB helped increase its own home starts 40% to 50% year over year while headcount declined about 10% as automation expanded.
HousingWire reports that Texas build-to-rent builder Wan Bridge is commercializing its in-house AI platform, AiWB, designed to connect systems across the homebuilding lifecycle.
The company says it built AiWB to support build-to-rent workflow automation, aiming to improve efficiency by linking workflows, systems, and stakeholders involved in development and construction, and by using automation across processes.
Wan Bridge attributes recent performance to the platform, saying its own starts rose 40% to 50% year over year while headcount declined about 10% due to automation.
According to HousingWire, the decade-old firm launched AiWB earlier this year and is now marketing the technology to other BTR builders, with internal data indicating it has contributed to the development of dozens of communities.
