AI sped up quantum-safe Bitcoin transaction estimates, dropping to $66

StarkWare said contest participants using AI tools made the computation about five times faster, but it has not yet been shown in another Bitcoin transaction mined so far.

A quantum-safe Bitcoin transaction computation estimate has fallen sharply after research by StarkWare, which previously put the figure at $320 and now estimates it at $66.

CoinDesk reported that StarkWare credits faster computation to participants in a contest who used AI tools.

The company said the new approach is about five times faster for the computation, though the $66 estimate has not yet been demonstrated in another transaction mined on Bitcoin, according to CoinDesk.
