Ondo jumps over 20% as BlackRock-designed portfolios go onchain

Ondo gained after deploying three BlackRock-designed portfolios onchain, while Litecoin rose 18% without an accompanying announcement.

Ondo surged more than 20% after the token’s team put three BlackRock-designed portfolios onchain, sparking an overnight bid in parts of the altcoin market, according to The Defiant.

Litecoin also climbed, adding 18% with no announcement behind the move, while Bitcoin and ether traded lower during the same period.

The Defiant also noted that 51 of 60 large-cap tokens screened on Kraken were above their 00:00 UTC open.

In macro context, the outlet said the 10-year Treasury par yield closed Wednesday at 5.11%, and Polymarket is pricing an October rate increase at 68%.
