Rokstone Klik adds pricing and data roles for US digital risks

Rokstone said the hires will expand Klik’s ability to evaluate fast-evolving US casualty risks that traditional insurance markets struggle to price.

Rokstone has appointed Robert Cheshire as Head of Pricing and Alastair Reed as a Data Scientist within Rokstone Klik, its specialist US digital economy portfolio, according to Reinsurance News.

Cheshire joins from Chaucer, where he served as a Treaty Pricing Actuary, and Rokstone said his experience spans actuarial pricing, portfolio management, and innovation-led insurance. At Rokstone Klik, he will lead the creation of pricing frameworks for intricate, high-volume, and data-intensive platform risks.

Rokstone said Cheshire’s work will combine actuarial discipline with real-time insight, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to support more accurate, forward-looking underwriting decisions. It added that his role includes building technical pricing frameworks that aim to make pricing more informative, transparent, and predictive.

Reed will focus on translating complex loss and exposure data into actionable intelligence, drawing on expertise in data science, quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, and programming. Reporting to Andrew Cooper, Head of Rokstone Klik, the firm said the pair will help enhance Klik’s capacity to evaluate fast-evolving US casualty risks that traditional markets struggle to price effectively.
