Huntington T. Block hires Emily Schaffer for fine art insurance role
Emily Schaffer will be the day-to-day contact for key fine art accounts at Huntington T. Block, which is part of Aon plc.
Huntington T. Block Insurance Agency Inc., a fine art and musical instrument insurance broker and a subsidiary of Aon plc, hired Emily Schaffer as senior vice president of fine art insurance, Insurance Journal reports. Schaffer will serve as the day-to-day contact for key fine art accounts, drawing on more than 15 years of experience building and managing complex global insurance programs.
The outlet reports Schaffer joins Huntington T. Block from Risk Strategies Company, where she most recently served as vice president and team leader for fine arts.
In a separate move, Insurance Journal reports that John Zern joined Howden U.S. as vice chair of health and benefits, coming from Ryan Specialty Benefits where he served as president and CEO. Zern will oversee Howden’s health and benefits practice and is tasked with growing the firm’s presence across the employer community, with more than 35 years of experience in employee benefits and property-casualty businesses.
