Strive CEO says Bitcoin could rise indefinitely against dollar

He links the view to a US debt crisis and argues that dollar value could be pressured if long-end rates stay elevated.

Strive CEO Matt Cole said Bitcoin could effectively trade “to infinity” against the US dollar, arguing the catalyst is not Bitcoin’s supply, but a worsening Washington debt crisis that he expects to erode the currency’s value, according to comments on Bloomberg Crypto.

Cole said he believes the 10-year Treasury yield would already be above 10% if the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department stepped back from the bond market entirely, and he described Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s efforts as capping long-end rates for now but only delaying a broader reckoning.

He also cited Strive’s own outlook for Bitcoin, saying the company’s public forecast calls for 50% compound annual growth through 2030, which Cole characterized as conservative given past bull-market cycles.

Cole added that Strive’s SATA preferred stock, which pays a daily cash dividend, has outperformed Bitcoin by more than 100% in 2026 even as BTC has been roughly flat, and he argued that the Bitcoin treasury company model remains intact for disciplined buyers.
