Allstate lists an app in ChatGPT for quick auto insurance estimates

Allstate has listed an app inside ChatGPT that lets users request a quick auto insurance estimate by sharing details about themselves and their vehicle.
According to Coverager, the ChatGPT app describes a follow-on workflow where users continue to Allstate to customize coverage, review their quote, and purchase a policy.
Coverager also reports that Allstate said claims professionals will train on damage types and repairs, including collision, flood, hail, structural damage, and fixes involving airbags, cameras, sensors, and advanced driver-assistance systems.
Allstate said the workflow is not yet ready for large-scale commercial use, and it framed the research as preparation for using quantum computing as hardware improves.
