Blitzy signs a 52,000 SF five-year office lease at One Kendall Square

The lease is described as the largest office deal signed in Cambridge this year, and the new space is planned to support a move from more than 200 employees toward a 300 person expansion.

Bisnow reports that Blitzy, an AI startup founded in 2023, signed a five-year lease for 52,000 square feet at Alexandria Real Estate Equities' One Kendall Square complex in Cambridge. The company said the site is being used to expand its headquarters.

According to Bisnow, the lease is the largest office deal signed in Cambridge this year. Blitzy was represented by JLL, and the new space is designed to support an expansion to 300 employees, after the startup said it has more than 200 staff today.

Bisnow also notes that the Alexandria property deal follows another major AI office lease in Cambridge earlier this month, involving Anthropic. Blitzy said it is choosing to expand where it was founded, and the company highlighted a plan to invest in the local AI community.
