Cubex Tubings hits a fourth straight upper circuit day
The stock rose to ₹152.24, reaching a fresh all-time high after four consecutive sessions locked at the exchange’s upper circuit limit.
LiveMint Markets reports that Cubex Tubings, a manufacturer of copper and copper alloy products, extended its winning streak as the shares continued to hit the upper circuit amid broader market weakness.
The outlet says the stock was locked in another 10% upper circuit limit in Friday’s session, bringing its value to an all-time high of ₹152.24 and marking four straight days of reaching the maximum limit set for the counter.
LiveMint Markets added that on September 22 and September 23, the shares had reached a 20% limit, after which the exchange reduced the limit to 10%, while the run continued.
The outlet also noted that repeated upper circuit hits typically reflect strong buying interest, with limited selling activity on the exchanges.
