Faura to wind down operations at end of October 2026
Faura, a property risk and climate analytics startup, raised about $7.9 million across disclosed funding rounds before planning the wind down.
Faura, a property risk and climate analytics startup based in Napa, California, said it will wind down its operations at the end of October 2026, about four years after it was founded in 2023. The company focused on providing homeowners with verified property information and helping insurers assess resilience to natural disasters, according to its announcement.
Faura said it collected thousands of verified property assessments and built integrations for assessing disaster risk. In the same update, it said it remains optimistic about the future of insurance and climate resilience, and that the problem it set out to solve remains.
Faura reported that it raised approximately $7.9 million across disclosed funding rounds. Coverager reports that PCMS partnered with Faura to embed real-time natural disaster resilience data into its Atlas platform.
