Italy to urge refineries to boost diesel and gasoline output

Italy’s industry and energy security ministers plan to meet with executives from the Italian refining sector in early October, according to OilPrice.

The meeting will focus on how refineries could raise diesel and gasoline output, with the goal of helping ease record-high fuel prices.

OilPrice says the ministers involved are Adolfo Urso and Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, who have invited refining executives to discuss production increases.
