Debate grows over whether bringing iced coffee to interviews is unprofessional
BBC Business highlights an online debate about whether candidates should bring iced coffee to job interviews.
A US recruiter, Caitlin Wehniainen, says she sees Gen Z candidates showing up with iced coffee or drinks and views it as potentially signaling a lack of preparation or seriousness.
Others argue it is an overreaction to focus on interview props given how difficult it can be to land interviews in the first place, while at least one worker says first impressions mean anything can deter an employer.
