Assurity launches Quick Issue Critical Illness coverage for ages 18 to 64

Assurity has launched Quick Issue Critical Illness Insurance for adults ages 18 to 64, with benefit amounts ranging from $5,000 to $50,000, according to Coverager.
The new coverage is designed to pay for cancer, heart attack, stroke, and advanced Alzheimer’s disease, and benefits do not decrease as policyholders age. The application process asks five health questions.
Assurity said it is positioning the product as a supplement to major medical insurance, including an option for agencies selling ACA plans or adding coverage for existing clients. Applications are available through its FastTrack platform, and eligible foreign residents can also apply, Coverager reported.
