North Devon protesters oppose a proposed 344-hectare AI datacentre

A protest movement has emerged in north Devon against a planned hyperscale AI data campus proposed by Xlinks, with local residents citing the location in a globally protected landscape, according to the Guardian Business.

The planned site is described as a 344-hectare datacentre in Great Torrington, which sits within views stretching over a UNESCO-designated biosphere reserve, the Guardian Business reports.
