Adani Enterprises slides after promoter entities swap shares in bulk deal
The bulk transaction involved 86 lakh shares valued at ₹2,498.3 crore, with Adani Infra (India) and Adani Properties buying at an average price of ₹2,905 per share.
Adani Enterprises shares fell in Monday trading after Adani group entities carried out a bulk share swap earlier. LiveMint Markets said the stock was down about 2% at one point in the session on BSE, after the Friday block deals.
According to NSE bulk deal data cited by LiveMint Markets, 86 lakh shares changed hands between promoter group entities in a deal worth ₹2,498 crore. Adani Infra (India) bought 34.5 lakh shares of Adani Enterprises at an average price of ₹2,905, while Adani Properties acquired 51.5 lakh shares at the same price, bringing the combined deal value to ₹2,498.3 crore.
In Monday trade, the company’s shares opened at ₹2,922.50 versus the prior close of ₹2,914.95, then slid to an intraday low of ₹2,856. By around 10 am, the stock was down 1.35% at ₹2,875.60, after initially extending losses.
