Alex Akel builds AI-enabled platform for scaling homebuilding

Akel Homes president Alex Akel built an integrated AI-supported enterprise platform that spans sales, scheduling, and financial visibility as he targets growth from about 100 homes toward 500 while limiting added overhead.

HousingWire reports that Akel Homes president Alex Akel has built an integrated enterprise platform with AI support that links key parts of homebuilding, including sales, scheduling, and financial visibility.

The platform is designed to help the company scale production from about 100 homes toward 500 homes, with the aim of keeping overhead increases limited.

HousingWire also describes the effort as spanning “sales through field operations,” tying together purchasing, scheduling, construction, sales, and finance so homes can move through the organization with greater predictability and less friction.

According to HousingWire, Akel said he spent about 1,600 to 1,800 hours building the integrated system.
