Experian integrates credit insights into Google Gemini Connected Apps
US users can link their Experian accounts to ask Gemini about their credit rating and the factors influencing it.
Experian has become the first personal finance app integrated with Google Gemini’s Connected Apps, allowing US users to link their Experian accounts and ask Gemini about their credit rating and what influences it, Coverager reports.
New users can create a free Experian account through the experience, with connections enabled via Gemini’s Personal Intelligence settings or by tagging @Experian in a chat, according to the report.
Experian said consumers seeking their FICO Score 8 will still access it through its website or app, the outlet adds.
The companies plan to expand capabilities over time, including potential help with canceling subscriptions, as part of Experian’s effort to reach consumers through AI assistants used for financial decisions, Coverager reports.
