Gallagher Re names Andy Bush vice president for facultative

Bush joins from Gen Re, where he most recently worked as a Senior Underwriting Specialist.

Gallagher Re, a global reinsurance brokerage and advisory firm, has appointed Andy Bush as vice president for facultative.

Based in the firm’s Chicago office, Bush will help strengthen Gallagher Re’s Casualty Facultative platform and expand its Chicago presence.

The firm said Bush brings 14 years of insurance industry experience, including the past four years focused on reinsurance, with expertise across casualty and professional lines and experience developing facility-based solutions.

Gallagher Re said Bush joins from Gen Re, where he most recently served as a Senior Underwriting Specialist, after earlier roles including underwriting positions at CNA Insurance and Zurich Insurance.
