Swiss Re names new Market Team Leads for Mediterranean and Middle East

The appointments expand Swiss Re’s client coverage across Israel, Turkey, Pakistan, the Gulf, Egypt, Iraq, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, the Near East, and the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Swiss Re announced new Market Team Lead appointments spanning its Mediterranean and Middle East client coverage, including Arnaud Kopp, Felipe Garcia, Jana Navarrete, and Mathieu Henry, according to Reinsurance News.

Kopp will lead Israel, Turkey, and Pakistan, bringing more than a decade of experience at Swiss Re, with background in P&C reinsurance underwriting, CAT risk, and structured solutions.

Garcia will take on an expanded role as Head of P&C Gulf, Egypt, and Iraq after previously building experience across underwriting, claims management, and regional leadership across the Middle East, Southern Europe, and Iberia.

Navarrete has been named Market Team Lead for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta and the Near East, while Henry will lead the UAE and KSA, with Swiss Re saying the roles are focused on driving growth and strengthening client partnerships.
