Waymo nears lease for 120,000 SF at One Market Plaza

The planned space includes two floors that had been occupied by Alphabet’s Google before the company’s exit in 2025.

Waymo is nearing a lease for three floors at Elecor Properties’ One Market Plaza in San Francisco, including two floors that were previously occupied by Alphabet Inc.’s Google, the San Francisco Business Times reported, citing a letter of intent.

The self-driving car company would take 120,000 square feet on floors three through five. Google occupied the third and fourth floors for years as part of a 320,000-square-foot lease before it exited the property in 2025.

The fifth floor has been occupied by Morgan Lewis, which had a 150,000-square-foot office in the complex before relocating to the Transamerica Pyramid earlier this year.

For Waymo, the move to One Market Plaza follows its reported letter of intent as the deal approaches finalization, according to the report cited by ConnectCRE.
